At Hope in Action Resource Team (HART), our mission is to empower communities by providing comprehensive resources that foster stability, hope, and a pathway to a better future. We believe that every family deserves a foundation of security and dignity, and that small acts of assistance today can transform generations tomorrow.
As we look toward our long-term vision of serving 5,000 families annually by 2030, our 2027 Fundraising Plan outlines how we will secure the resources needed to expand our impact across San Bernardino County and the Inland Empire.
Our 2027 Financial Target: $300,000
To sustain our holistic services and meet the growing needs of our community, our goal is to raise $300,000 in net revenue in 2027. This represents a sustainable 20% growth from our 2026 targets, allowing us to scale our most critical programs.
To ensure resilience, we maintain diversified revenue streams:

What Your Support Funds
Every dollar raised is strategically allocated to break the cycle of hardship for families in crisis. In 2027, our funding will prioritize:
“Feeding First” & Resource Navigation: Expanding our mobile outreach logistics to provide consistent, hot meals to unhoused individuals. This nutritional relief serves as a gateway to connect them with permanent housing programs and medical services.
Housing & Shelter Expansion: Securing affordable housing units through local landlord partnerships and expanding our short-term shelter capacity to transition families into permanent homes.
Micro-Grants & Financial Empowerment: Providing emergency micro-grants ($500–$2,000) to families in immediate crisis, coupled with mandatory financial literacy workshops to ensure long-term stability.
2027 Key Campaigns & Events

Q1 & Q3: Family First Drive: An online, peer-to-peer giving campaign dedicated to funding our immediate emergency priorities and community survival kits.
Q2: Hope Builders Gala: Our premier annual gathering featuring impactful storytelling, faith-inspired art, and a celebration of transformed families.
Q4: Spiritual Shelter Walk: A 5K community walk in partnership with local churches, raising awareness and critical funds for our shelter operations.

Our Commitment to Transparency
At HART, transparent governance and mission-driven impact are written into our bylaws. We are committed to maximizing the efficiency of your gift, strictly allocating 10% of our budget to fundraising and administrative costs so that the vast majority of our revenue goes directly to the communities we serve.
